Corbin

Seriously, look at that mug! This handsome boy is Corbin. He is a Pit Bull/ Neopol Mastiff and stands about the height of your typical pittie but his paws, shoulders, neck and head are all Mastiff. This guy is said to be about 3 years old and weighs in at 89lbs. He is a perfect example of a gentle giant.
Corbin is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. He enjoys human companionship, but is pretty independent so you do not have to worry about this big boy trying to get on your lap. He really just likes to hang out next to you. The shelter thinks he will do best as an only pet in the home so he can soak up all the attention. He knows sit, down and is learning to walk nice on a leash, Corbin is very strong.
If you or anyone you know is interested in giving this big lover boy the life he deserves, please contact me or go check him out at the Carlsbad Animal Shelter. His ID number is A1454510 and tag number is N754. If you want a big, goofy, awesome and very smart boy, Corbin is your man!

Zoe has been adopted!

Meet Miss Zoe girl! The shelter is pretty convinced she is deaf and I agree. Don't think that holds her back at all though, it just makes her response to hand commands really sharp. She knows SIT, STAY and we are working on DOWN... which she is learning quickly. She walks very well on leash and enjoys sitting next to you while observing the world around her. Her response to other dogs is playful and she can not get enough love from humans.
Zoe has a lot of  love to give and needs an owner willing to give the same back to her. The ideal adopter should have a lot of patience and it is crucial that they learn how to use hand commands to communicate properly with her. If this special girl warms your heart please contact me for more info or go check her out at the Carlsbad Animal Shelter. Her tag number is N600 and she is currently in kennel number 1.
